Ok, hands up who loves a good takeaway pizza? When I'm going through new clients' nutrition and I ask which takeaways they enjoy, pizza always comes up. So, here's one that will fit into your healthy lifestyle. Introducing.. The Meatza; take out the floury, preservative filled base and switch it to a tasty premium mince meat base. Yes. Aaaaaamazing.

I cooked a batch of meatza's for my crew to lead us into a big night of celebrating and the result.... A massive hit! They were satisfied for hours and the 'mmmm's' and 'yuuuuuum's' told me their taste buds were appreciating!

Here's the recipe for you to create your own 4 mini meatza's:

Preheat your oven to 180 and line a baking tray with grease proof paper.

Meatza base: 500g premium minced beef, 1 garlic clove finely chopped, 1 tbsp tomato paste, 1 tsp oregano, a few leaves of fresh chopped basil, a few twists of Himalayan rock salt, pepper and a little chilli powder. Combine the ingredients in a bowl, split into 4, packing them tightly together, then flatten onto your baking tray. (the meatza bases shrink when cooking so flatten them out well and go larger than your desired size). Cook each side for 15 minutes in the oven then create your topping! Once your topping is on, bake for another 10 minutes then serve

Topping: My go to is tomato paste, black olives, artichoke hearts, goats feta, capers, fresh tomato and a few basil leaves to garnish. But get creative! 

Serve with a big green salad with a vinaigrette of balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Deeeeelish!
